If Savage Mojo's Dogs of Hades RPG can best be described as Dune, with Spartans, in outer space, then Young Love Hera can safely be said to be Shakespeare, with Athenians, on a distant planet.

In this One Sheet Adventure you must help stop the unapproved and unfavorable union of Parmenio, spoiled merchant-prince from a despised competitor's House, and Zoe, the spoiled merchant-princess who is the flower of her father's home. The star-crossed Parmeneo has kidnapped Zoe and only you and your party, plus a mindbogglingly complex Olympian bureaucracy, are all that stands in their way.

Zoe's mother Adara, is a Priestess of Hera. She opposes the union and will do all she can to prevent it from happening.

Euthalia, a Priestess of Aphrodite from neither House, has offered to help Parmenio and Zoe, but her true motives are suspect. And she controls ninjas who worship the love goddess' dark-side. What's with that?

Your task is to keep the young lovers from consumating their union, both officially and physically, saving everyone lots of needless grief.

Three exciting scenes are outlined in this adventure, but you can easily stretch it out to four or five to further flesh out the background info, then fold the tale into your campaign.

Although this adventure is essentially Romeo & Juliet, with Greek temples and ninjas,  it does offer the possibility of a happy ending (though this is harder to accomplish in this version than in Aphrodite's), earning it another Olympian thumbs up.

Onwards!

Note: Dogs of Hades: One Sheet: Young Love: Aphrodite flips the proverbial coin and presents this tale from the opposite perspective.
