In Mount Olympus' cosmology, the Empyrean is the Highest Heaven, the dwelling place of the Celestials and our True Home. Some conceive the Empyrean as being somewhere external to us, beyond the Vault of Sky. Others see it as an internal condition, a state of pure consciousness or extreme clarity of mind.

In Cosmic Olympianism, the Empyrean is sometimes called the Central Sun, the Sun Beyond the Sun, or the Hidden Sun and is presided over by Helios and Hestia, symbolically bridging the macrocosm with the microcosm once again.
