October is Vocational Service Month

The Theban Hercules journeyed through several cycles of the Zodiac in order to complete his famous Labors. In honor of District Governor Peter Wells' challenge, I chose the Rotarian Calendar, which is similarly themed by month, as the vehicle for my upcoming Rotarian Odyssey.

For me, October has always been a time for commiting my accrued knowledge, experience and life-skills toward New Beginnings. My wedding Anniversary, the ancient Celtic New Year and my favorite Holiday are all on October 31st.  

So, on October 31, 2015 I resolved to spend the next year exploring what Rotary International is all about by traveling through their calendar, in hopes of finding my true place within the organization's schema and offering the best Vocational Service toward their charitable endeavors which inspired me the most.

The Age of Heroes has indeed dawned, and the Elysium Project is well underway!
