The Annunaki Chronicles

Zecharia Sitchin (1920 - 2010) breathed new life into twentieth century speculations about Ancient Astronauts and sparked a global interest in exploring the myths and mysteries contained in the world's earliest scriptures, including the Old Testament.

I discovered the 12th Planet, Volume One of the Earth Chronicles, his first published work, while still in High School. And I've read a great many of Zecharia's subsequent books over the past four decades.

Although all of his work is still in print and very readily available, his voice and perspective is most certainly missed.

His legacy lives on and there is no shortage of new releases about the Children of Anu and their long-ago sojourn on our Earth. I enjoy reading these from time to time... but still find myself wishing for the clarity and complexity of Zecharia's original vision.

Janet Sitchin

I was recently delighted to discover that The Anunnaki Chronicles: A Zecharia Sitchin Reader had been published. It is a collection of material from Zacharia's voluminous writings that serves as an excellent introduction to, and overview of, his seminal life-work. For someone like me it would serve to refresh and better connect all that I had previously learned. Edited by his niece, Janet Sitchin, it also includes some previously unpublished material and numerous illustrations.

Since beginning this awesome book, I've dug out my entire Zecharia Sitchin library - no easy task - including VHS tapes and DVDs, and starting listing which of his works I'm still missing. Though I have no idea how I will find the time, I resolved to revisit the entire run.

I also had the privilege of interviewing Janet Sitchin on Voice of Olympus and am eagerly looking forward to any and all new releases. She is an awesome lady and I was convinced that Zecharia's legacy is in capable hands!  You can listen to our conversation by clicking on the Menu Link to the left. Onwards!
