The Phoenix is an ancient Solar Totem sacred to the Hercules of Tyre, whose memory Herodotus helped preserve.

Although his birth-name has been lost in the mists of time, this Hercules was honored as Melqart, which means King of the City, by the Tyrians.

The Tyrian Hercules' descendants, and the people they ruled, were called Phoenicians in honor of the Phoenix, a living symbol of the Sun's life, death and re-birth.

I was pleasantly surprised when an individual called Master Phoenix responded immediately after I sounded the Horn of Summoning, as I do when each Age of Heroes Initiative is ready to launch.

Master Phoenix, a Techno-Druid from Utah, has spoken to me at great length and with boundless enthusiasm about very many things that I have little hope of understanding anytime soon.

I am unperturbed by this as such has been the way of all the Soothsayers, Oracles and Magic Folk that Olympus has sent my way over the years.

I know that in the process of acquiring more knowledge about Solar Power I will become increasingly more able to make sense of his utterances, and more confident when making a decision to act (or not to act) upon his sage counsel.

Druids are Celtic Keepers of Wisdom and I have a great affinity with the Mythic Traditions of Western Europe. According to many accounts the ancient Druids greatly honored the Sun.

Celtus, the Father of the Celts, was said to be a Son of Hercules. And Hercules himself was known to the Celtic tribes by several different names and titles including The Daghda, which means The Good God in the Proto-Celtic tongue.

Master Phoenix, known to the mundane as Mike McLaughlin, is also adept in the use of computers, computer software, digital communication, data storage and transfer plus graphic arts and animation. He founded a company called Rebirth of Rennisance. There is a wealth of information available about his technical wizardry on his website.

Beyond becoming familiar with all that he can bring to the table, he suggested that I explore a company called RaPower3, billed as 'The Most Disruptive Energy Technologies The World Has Ever Seen'.
