Mythic Physique Adventures

The video version of Isabel Merian's play Harlots and Heresy was previewed at the Nyack Village Theater on May 22nd. Another life-long fantasy is fulfilled as my portrayal of Samson has now been viewed by an audience on the screen in a theater!

The AFA Committee met on May 11th and further defined its current focus. This Mythic Physique website is being updated. Mythic Atlantis II and Fitness Quest 2016 are in the works. And a new cycle of intense physical activity has already been launched, built on the firm foundation of Charles Atlas' Dynamic Tension ® regimen!

Our Heroic Convention on April 16, 2016 fulfilled a life-long fantasy of bringing back Mythic Atlantis... as Hercules, if only for a short while. Athena performed the opening Goddess sequence from Harlots and Heresy. The event also reunited me with folks from my old show from over a decade ago, Thor the Barbarian. We made Optimal Wellness one of our Fitness Goals for Mythic Atlantis. And I was certified as a Meditation Instructor.

I resumed my Herculean position as Herald of New Business for the Chamber of Commerce. I also began a Quest to locate more Herculeses for local Rotary Clubs. The AFA Committee had a second meeting, and we're getting more focused and organized with fulfilling our MissionI

January & February 2016

2016 dawned with my being Champion of the Tenafly Mayors Wellness Campaign and Vice President of Education and Training at Charles Atlas Ltd. I ushered in the new year with a new cycle of physical activity and many meditations on how 2016 could best unfold as I tread my personal Path of Optimal Wellness. January ended with my becoming Chairperson of the Tenafly Access for All Committee, a great Honor indeed!

The video version of Isabel Merian's play Harlots and Heresy was previewed at the Nyack Village Theater once again on June 5th.

July - December 2016

Alas, I allowed circumstances to disrupt my cherished routines. I continued to diet and exercise, but not as regularly or consistently as I would have liked. On the plus side, I lost some of the excess weight I was carrying around and am now slimmer as a result.

Such disruptions sometimes happen. I picked myself up, dusted myself off and sought to resume following my chosen path, fighting internal resistance each step of the way.

At year's end:

I am still involved with the Mayor's Wellness Campaign on a Borough and County level.

I am still Chairperson of the Tenafly Access For All Committee.

I am still the Herald of New Business for the Tenafly Chamber of Commerce.

The journey of Harlots and Heretics continues, with the prospect of my playing Samson once again.

My association with Charles Atlas, Ltd continues.

I am a Certified Meditation Instructor.

After much consideration, my goals for the year ahead have been set.

Steve Reeves was chosen as my Mythic Mentor for the coming year.

I am ready to continue with my Quest for Optimal Wellness in 2017.

Despite my setbacks, I am definitely starting off on the right foot!
