Hercules Cortez

Professional Wrestler Alfonso Carlos Chicharro  (1932-1971) performed under the names Hercules Cortez, Hercules Cortes and The Mighty Hercules.

Also known as Pepe Cortes and Claude Dassary he started building his legend in the early  1950s. He died in an automobile accident in 1971 shortly after winning the World Tag Team title.

Hercules Cortez is remembered for his boulder-lifting challenges.
