Hercules: X-Treme X-Men

The modern-day alternate world Hercules who first appeared in X-Treme X-Men Volume 2 #8 was exiled from Olympus for daring to love a mortal, in this case Wolverine (Kurt Waggoner). 

This variant of Marvel's Earth 616 Hercules shares many of his counterpart's powers and abilities. He lost his life defending the multiverse in the X-Termination storyline.
